I never trusted the leftist assertion that the 15% of uninsured wanted insurance.

The ones I've seen added are train wrecks that have never worked, pay zero for care now, and will utilize the shite out of it. One of them even realized it can't last. She couldn't believe she gets BCBS for no premium, has no co-pay on meds or visits and no deductible. 100% "free" healthcare. Unsustainable. Of course the gov't has pledged to bail BCBS out when they lose their arse.

We should have simply identified that small percentage of Americans who ate uninsurable and given them free insurance. It would have been far cheaper and would have not affected the rest of us who have insurance and follow the rules.

At the end of December the number of enrollees in Louisiana stood at a grand total of 4K out of the four million plus residents in the state. That is a measure of success that only works out for the Oboeistas who suck the knob daily.

We are gonna help these people whether they like it or not or we will go broke first.

What we would have given them cannot be defined as insurance.

m sure some had good intentions

Their intentions were about as good and pure as LBJ's intentions were with his Great Society programs. And LBJ was not an altruistic man.

To liberals it is always appearance that matters, not substance.

I can't BELIEVE y'all are discussing this!

Don't you know that some bridge lanes were closed for a couple of hours in NJ?

(That's the REAL point of the NJ bullshite - talk about anything but obamacare for as long as possible).

If they have to pay, they don't want it. People hate to spend money on medical bills or insurance.

But those that needed it most, presumably the poor, were basically going to get subsidized 100%.

I mean, too lazy to even file or basically don't want? I don't get it. It's like the whole affordable care act was totally a show of power to provide a service that people didn't want.

This president is the anti-Midas.
