I think most of baton rouge is apathetic, other than the "magnet moms" and a few other groups. I think there are more people in the parish who strongly support the movement than strongly oppose, IMO.

I agree which should help if it goes to a vote. The people who aren't for it but really don't care that much wont vote at all.

I agree. Many of the "Better Together" homes in my neighbourhood, are the homes of people whose children are in Magnet Schools. Particularly ironic is the home, from which the children attended one of the most difficult schools to gain admission. The LSU Lab School. Oh, and they're quite the liberals. Yet it is the SG supporters who are accused of racism, but these "Better Together" people seem to have no concern for the children in "regular" Public Schools.

I come into contact quite often with school groups from public schools. It is a shame that these children, of all races, are just numbers to be moved around to meet certain quotas.
