Who are they and us? And what evidence do you have that they actually hate "us?"

I feel like a lot of people will be doing this - blaming Trump for a lot of bad things they or others do, and Trump absorbing all of their wrongs.

Trump will be kind of like a Jesus for assholes.

I love sports but I wish we place greater emphasis on intellectual pursuits like history and science.

To put it into perspective, Glenn Beck had about 2 to 3 million viewers for his show. 2 million viewers watched the Patriots-Texans (without Tom Brady) Thursday night game ON TWITTER alone.

Patriots would play 1 game per week for 5 months. Glenn Beck was on 5 nights per week for 12 months of the year. Not really an apples to apples comparison. I've enjoyed the debate.

Why would it even ever cross someone's mind?

It's just like the Chick-Fil-A protest. People on here laughed at how absurd all that was and now they are rallying behind foregoing professional sports because their opinions aren't shared by the athletes.

I daresay there isn't a single modern instance of a liberal boycott that, when discussed on this board, isn't the subject of ridicule by the members of this board...but when they boycott the NBA because Chandler Parsons, when asked, said that Trump is a prick, that's somehow different.

Funny story, maybe you heard it, but Ron Artest (frick calling him Metta World Peace) actually talks everyday to the guy who threw the beer at him.

Oh wow no I hadn't heard that actually. Pretty cool.

For many people, the incessant whining is taking all of the fun out of watching overpaid athletes run around in circles. That's showbusiness.

The MSB is jerking off Popovich for his courage to confront the election of Trump, but I think that his outburst will not sit well with the people who buy tickets to games there.

Van Gundy and Kerr can go ahead and shut the frick up, too.

You are watching a game so who gives a flying fat cat turd about NFL & NBA atheletes, coaches, commishs, etc opinions, it is not like you are not voting for them to be POTUS.

Ppl used the same thing about The Apprentice, so you may have a point, but still you are overreacting.
