Although sitting out an election may make you personally feel better, you do know that it accomplishes nothing right?

In practical terms you should still go and vote for whoever you think is the least bad, or do a write in as a protest.

Word on the street is Roy Moore has no cash bar or open bar at his watch party. Is this the kind of person y'all want to elect?

I don't know if he was forced or not but he got some terrible advice from Kushner in this race. It's also frustrating that Bannon's and Palin's involvement has apparently angered Trump but he never holds Kushner accountable for his disastrous advice (Strange, firing Comey).

They've overlooked every other clown or corrupt thing he does, so I doubt they'll care about that.

It's clear that Trump was supporting Strange as an olive branch tot he GOP cucks in Congress.

Moore is a loose cannon and the Republican establishment will not be able to control him at all.

The GOP establishment clearly bargained with Trump to support Strange in exchange for them being slightly less cuckish.

In Alabama, everyone has to sign in prior to voting. There is a number beside each name, the number rises by an increment of 1 each time a voter signs his name. I was number 213 at 11am at my precinct.

I'm not there yet. I don't know if I can cast a vote to send a Democrat to the Senate. On the other hand, Roy Moore would be a disaster for this state. Sending Moore to the Senate would validate his brand of charlatan politics which I think sets this state back. He will embarass us on the national stage and his victory will embolden hayseeds of Alabama GOP'ers like Jim Ziegler to follow in his path. A statewide defeat on that scale for the AL GOP could actually be a good thing overall for the state. It will be a tough choice.

I understand your concern and don't really disagree

But I can't allow my state to make things more difficult for this president who is already being treated unfairly because he doing what is best for country

Better a black eye for Alabama than an emboldened left wing...

Sheesh. The voters of Alabama just coughed up a serious hairball by their selection of Roy Moore.

This is an opportunity for the Democrat Doug Jones to steal a Senate seat that once seemed a lock for the Republicans. Moore is in short, a religious nut who is WAY too extreme to grace the halls of the Senate.
