copied from a Yahoo article not worthy of pasting

I'm wondering at the pros(benefits to GOP) & cons of these shifts though

pro
they are no longer hiding who they are, in years past it would have been suicide, hence the habitual lying about where they stand and the moniker of being a 'moderate'

con
maybe it dont matter anymore, maybe over half the country is actually ape-shite and the commies will push us over the cliff

pro
We have the orange wall

con
he can't live forever

thoughts??

The biggest con is that people like this will make the party more and more violent

if the left doubles down on their reaction to Trump, then reaction to them doubling down will be farther to the right

Talk about being divorced from reality.

You mean like calling on people to harass others in public. Oh wait that was Mad Max.

What has the right done specifically to drive people to the left?

You don’t own the only legitimate view of what the constitution says

I just don't understand how these people believe they lost the rust belt because they didn't go far enough to the left

I think it has more to do with Joe Crowley refusing to show up at two debates that had been requested of him. I think his smugness to not show up probably was his albatross. People said "piss on him" and voted for the chick.

The scary part is that this lady is further left that the person she beat. She almost makes him seem moderate.

Like with what? If anything, it seems like the party is trying to do what it can to reel in the "moderate" dems who are turned off by these full blown socialist "antics."

A Hispanic won in a district that is 50% Hispanic. That’s a sign that race trumps policy for minorities.

The irony is that I bet the majority of those Hispanics left countries that are shitholes because of the exact kind of policies this woman is advocating.
