Don't forget that there's a taxpayer cost to all this globetrotting. I don't begrudge Obama taking the family on a couple of vacations a year, but this is bullshite. I doubt seriously that Branson's yacht was out at sea all by itself with the most recent POTUS on board.

I'm not going to criticize him for this any more than I would criticize someone from the right for doing the same thing. If they have the money and they have the time, then go for it. It's his money.

We must remember that, at its core, the Left's Struggle is against Capitalism.
Now then, one thing that Capitalism produces is extremely wealthy individuals who become wealthy because they know best how to work the Capitalist system to become a member of that one percent at the top of the world's wealthy.
The Left knows this. The Left's leaders know that they themselves are unskilled at creating wealth through
Capitalism. Therefore, they must find a NEW method OUTSIDE of Capitalism to create their own wealth and find a way to be in the top one percent.
What is this "new method" to become a member of the top one percent? Politics. Accruing personal power and influence through politics. Once you are a powerful Leftist politician, the wealth will surely follow.
How many examples can you think of, besides Obama, of Leftists that have followed this described model to become one of the wealthy elites?
The Clintons. John Kerry. How many others are there? Then, after you've identified a whole slew of Leftists that have gotten rich in this manner, think about how many of them are born and raised right here in the USA.
See, many of our fellow countrymen are selling their fellow Americans down the river so that THEY themselves can accrue vast personal power and wealth. That's some food for thought.

While basically true...he does have Secret Service, but he will have them whether he stays home or if he travels. I guess the government pays for their travel expenses? I don't know how that works. but, ex-Presidents are traveling all the time.

And like I said...you can be certain that his "protection" while at sea on Branson's yacht wasn't just a couple of agents on board.

I agree. However when you demonize rich people and corporations then live like the 0.5% and give speeches to those same corporations, I find it to be pretty sleazy.
That's one thing you can say about Trump. He has been unabashedly rich and has never apologized for it.
