The difference is that Obama interfered with ongoing foreign policy efforts before he was elected. So far there is no evidence that Trump did anything remotely approaching that level of impropriety or did anything improper at all, other than not being a Democrat and being a bit boorish.

Were any of those journalists running for president or part of the Dem campaign?
Trump's campaign meeting with a Russian lawyer hoping to find harmful information about their opponent is not the same thing as Obama's campaign meeting with Syria and Iran to talk about the Iran Nuclear program and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
