Now why was it with all those polls, you chose the ONLY one with less than 40?

Guess you missed the ABC/ Washington Post poll released TODAY that shows Obama with a 39% approval rating and a 57% disapproval rating.

ABC/ Washington Post. Period Dec 11-14. Registered Voters.

Got to admit, there was a lot of talk about him being the epitome of the word lame duck well before these elections.

The guy just keeps on accomplishing and pushing his agenda, wherever and in whatever direction it may go.

(is that acceptable here?)

Not listed on the tracking page I was on but thanks and let's check that one out to see if it's an outlier:

NBC/WSJ: 45%
McClatchy/Marist: 43%
Economist: 42%

Sorry. Nice attempt to save Phyllis from Mulga but he and you are quoting outliers and ignoring the overwhelming polls that show otherwise.

That's how you got caught with your pants down in '12. Picking and choosing only what you like only works at the Piccadilly.

Besides Quinnipiac and ABC/Washington Post, Bloomberg also has a December poll showing him at 39% and Reuters has one with him at 37%. The point is that polls are constantly changing and none of us has any clue what his numbers will look like in January ... or February...or March, etc. Bottom line, using your chosen polls, he's still 30 points behind where Clinton was in late December of 1998, right in the midst of his impeachment trial. Yet a Republican defeated his VP 23 months later.

I told you liberals are SO FULL OF shite.

Just saw on The Special Report with Bret Baier where the 103rd congress had the lowest percentage of approved nominations in OVER 30 YEARS AT 56 PERCENT.

Since Ronald Reagan, the average approval rate has been 77 percent per the Congressional two year period.

Libs brag and don't know shite. !!!!!!

What else is knew ?

That's not a good thing, because he is doing most of it though EO and against the wishes of the American people.

He isn't there to push his agenda, he is there to represent the wishes of the American people. The elections should have told him something, but he doesn't get it.

The reason Bill Clinton was liked and successful was because he understood the political mood of the country and worked across the aisle to get things done through compromise. Obama has to have it his way or the highway at any means possible.

Which is why we average them and I don't say Obama has a 47% rating because that is 1 out of 11 this month. 1 says 37 and 2 say 39. 5 say 41 and above with the average being just a hair under 42%. That's about 9 points higher than Bush at this point and shows that SECCrazy is a liar and you're a tad bit disingenuous.

No. Clinton was 30 points ahead of Bush. 20 ahead of Obama.

You mean the guy who refused to be seen in a photo with Clinton and who beat Bush by a half million votes?

I'm not giving Obama any undue credit for things he hasn't worked on, but I believe he's learned the one thing necessary for an aging president...patience. A president's powers simply exceed those of pretty much any of his opponents. If he picks his moments right, things can generally go his way.

There is one big difference, there are 11 percent of the country ( black Americans ) where 98 percent of them will give him a positive review no matter what the SOB does.

So that percentage should be discounted, no one likes this SOB.

Should we discount the 98% of southerner white men who give him negative reviews no matter what?

Hint: You may or may not be included in this demo.

I understand you tend to ignore black people. It comes from the days your arse was getting beat by Tyrone when you were incarcerated. But black America still counts.

I am not an Obama supporter, for the record.

I am simply saying he has moved his agenda forward despite the GOP winning the election. The President will adjust to the new congress and senate. He will get credit for tax reform, ending tax loopholes, allowing trillions to come home from overseas and generating more tax revenue. I also anticipate he will compromise allow the Keystone Pipeline. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets to nominate 1 more SCOTUS nominee. It will have to be an independent or someone the GOP can live with.

Lame Duck won't happen until 2016. For now, he is still very much in the game.

So 61 percent of America doesnt approve of him getting his way, mostly through EO, and you're telling us that doesn't matter? After a landslide midterm in which all republicans who won ran pretty much against Obama's policies and dictator like governing I'd have to disagree with you.

You're missing his point. Obama has indeed been one of the most successful Presidents in recent memory at getting his way. Whether it's passing that God-awful ACA, having Pelosi/Reid then Reid blocking budgets from getting passed so the government could spend shite-tons and cover it under CR's to being able to force the GOP to blink on Immigration to getting pretty much anyone he has wanted appointed to any spot he has wanted them in, Obama has been a resounding success as a President when it comes to getting his way. His way sucks for the rest of us, but you can't deny that he has gotten more of what he has wanted than anyone since (and maybe including) Reagan.
