My Administration will do everything in its power to prevent weak mayors and lawless cities from taking Federal dollars while they let anarchists harm people, burn buildings, and ruin lives and businesses. We’re putting them on notice today. @RussVought45

Good, taxpayers in Tucson shouldn’t be on the hook for allowed destruction in NYC and taxpayers in Birmingham shouldn’t be on the hook for allowed destruction in Portland.

If you don’t want to properly manage and protect your cities, it’s not the federal governments job to bail you out.

This says a review to defund. That’s way different than defunding.

Courts won't allow it, just like when he tried to stop federal funds going to sanctuary cities.

Cut them off and make them sue you. You don’t think that idiot Obama would not have done it? We all know the answer to that. He was just too damn stupid to think of it

aside from the looting that went down the first week, there hasn't been much happening in LA.

LAPD and LASD actually are arresting people and our DA isn't a complete p*ssy.

True. It's a shot across the bow. However, does anyone think Trump won't pull the trigger? Or perhaps he will just slow roll what he can't cut off.
