NRA throws curve ball. Asks Feds to review legality of bumpstock
Should do the same with triggercranks.

The stupid thing about banning bump fire stocks is that you can use a rubber band wrapped around the trigger and do the same thing. So in the future if someone uses that technique liberals will say "well I guess we just need to ban semi autos now."
This guy gets it.
A bump stock is not wizard magic. It’s not some magic tool that converts a semi auto to an auto. It is just a simple tool that returns the kinetic energy of a recoil back up the rifle using the newly discovered technology of something called a spring.
Rather than pulling the trigger with your finger, you depress the trigger and the returned recoil energy increases the rate of fire by pushing the trigger against your finger.
95% of people that call for a ban of bump stocks probably think they are a magical tools.
A person that wanted to pull off a mass shooting with the function of a bump stock could do so easily without buying one.

What is banning them going to help? One guy uses it in a tragedy and suddenly that's the solution?
This is the perfect example of knee-jerk politics. NRA doesn't care because it's an easy concession.
Nothing will prevent episodes like this in a country of 330,000,000 people.

There's really no good use for them. They are a waste of ammo. And they're more dangerous to the user.
They serve no purpose.
It's an easy concession and if yied to meaningful expansion of rights, it's a no brainer.

am absolutely SHOCKED that Tannerite is over the counter legal.
You ever bought fireworks? It’s the same deal.
