Not trolling: does the Muslim ban hurt the fight against isis?

Hear me out; does the ban not make recruiting people into Isis way easier? Can the recruiters of isis not point to the ban and just say "they don't want you so fight with us" Also shouldn't we work to get along with countries like Iran to stop the problem? It's hard to get along with them when we are even banned from entering their country. I just feel like the move is a bit counter intuitive to the movement. Trust me, if people really want to hurt the country bad enough, they will find a way to do it and I just think that this ban is honestly just giving them more motivation to do it and giving us less allies to fight against it with. I assume I will be down voted for saying something even remotely against the ban but I do hope to find some serious replies in here.

Then do some research. Look at what ISIS has already done in its history, look at the large numbers of young people recruited from countries like France and Britain that have basically had open borders, then ask yourself if our little ban on a very few Muslim nations is really going to move that needle.

Let's be honest it is a Muslim ban lol. One of the main causes of the ban was the Orlando shooting which was commited a Muslim that wasn't a refugee. Irregardless let's just call it a refuge ban.

Why is he not getting credit for backing off the "Muslim Ban" rhetoric?
