so they kneel to show support for racist BLM and black panther racist fist in the air and hatred against police and think that somehow that is any less of a FU to america just because they didnt disrespect the flag and national anthem?

i am glad they chose not to disrespect the flag and anthem but they still chose to kneel in support of racism and hatred against police so ... no points granted

Oh I agree! It's not that I agree with them for what they are kneeling for, but I have zero problem with a person standing up for what they believe even if it's not right.

However, there is a time and a place for those things. DISRESPECTING THE FLAG is not the time, nor a game the place.

It's still very self absorbed and not anything that should occur anytime.

There was so much kneeling this weekend as a direct result of shite Trump said.

And how many of the Cowboys knelt DURING the anthem, after they saw the disaster that occurred at stadiums across America?

They still locked arms during the anthem. Trump saying that "Locking arms is good" just proves how full of shite he is. US Flag Code (which is enshrined in law: US Code Title 36 Chapter 301) states that all non military shall stand at attention with their right hand over their heart during the national anthem.

Obviously, if the penalty for breaking that law were ever enforced, it'd be thrown out. But locking arms during the anthem is still an act of civil disobedience. The fact that Trump doesn't even know that proves he doesn't really give a shite about the flag and he's as ignorant on the issue as he is about most things. Of course, Trump himself often forgets to put his hand over his heart during the anthem, so he has no room to talk, not that that ever stops him.

They made their protest against Trump and his voters but they did stay to respect the flag and the anthem

Which is weird because that is exactly what Trump and his voters called for.

Easy to say this was a win for Trump & co.

Good compromise, Trump calling the NFL out forced a change. Let's see what happens next week. If the NFL is smart they will tell the owners that this is the rule on these protests going forward. Seeing all those jerseys and tickets burn on Youtube must have done some good.

Respect the flag during the anthem, do what you want before and after, it's a free country.

How dare the president support standing for the flag and anthem. Might as well be kkk!

Wonder if Obama was president, would he stop wearing the American flag pin on his suits..
