see, there is no Parent-God. if there were, all the guys you like would live forever and all the guys with whom you disagree would die the first time they said anything you don't like hearing about.

Gnon is indifferent to the wants and plights of humans. We have been given a tremendous gift, to expect more wordly intervention is folly. Our souls are taken care of, should we choose correctly (with the essence AND energies encouraging us), but this world has been left to man, I am afraid. What we do with it is under the provision of God, whether or not we take heed.

I see many parallels between our society and the ancient Judean culture that so wantonly rejected its deity...

What a interesting person you must be. To take a single quote made for the press and to then formulate an entire lifes' history and worldview from it. I wouldn't call you a tool I would call you a dumbfrick and an asslicker!

Otto, do you think the Talmudic proclivity towards humanism and social justice ended up putting European Jews between a rock and a hard place? I feel like, within a religious context, ideas must be taken to their logical conclusion if one is a true believer. Obviously, this manifests itself quite differently between Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, et. al

Comment on page one would indicate otherwise.

Also, the one you responded to doesn't indicate it, so..

The unfortunate thing about this, and most things is people don't attempt to truly understand people like Chomsky. They just shite on him because we're told he's on the other team.

Marx, for instance, is sickeningly misunderstood and misrepresented by both capitalist and even radical leftists (which is more by design, but that's another story). His work is very relevant. It helps anyone interested in social-poli theory to learn about his work, and not from the mouths of people who are misrepresenting him. That doesn't mean you have to be a Marxist, it can simply make you a better capitalist.

Same type of thing with Chomsky. He can provide a ton of value to anyone willing to absorb his work. It doesn't mean you become a Chomsky parrot.

We can use the dialectic outside of a weird, whiggish understanding of history to come to a better understanding, and realize legitimate criticisms.

Which is why I have infinitely more respect for Hegel than any subsequent Contintental scholars until Spengler.

yall are worked up over what an 88 year old socialist says. He didn't really have anything nice to say about obama.

I saw him speak in 2012, and he raked obama over the coals. he is an excellent speaker btw.

That post didn't say -- if you dig into his work more, you'll like him.

Which is how you responded.

I want to ring his old neck sometimes. I hate aspects of him. But I also find tremendous value.

Hegelian dialectics can be very useful to arrive at understanding of power structures, but to use it soley (the same as praxeology, really) gives an incomplete picture.

I'm going from a libertine ultra-capitalist into a severely reactionary, traditionalist mindset. I guess it could be faggy, if I chose.

Circle jerking at this point IS pretty faggy. I'm in watchman mode. Lots of things I don't like, but I'll never be happy with the results of democratic elections.

It's like they don't realize that calling their opponents white nationalists when they aren't is more likely to actually make them that way.

the utter ignorance of the history of the "Alt-Right" is unreal, esp since it became a thing and the catchphrase industry of the DEM-coordinated MSM got on board. the best part is the complete lack of self awareness that you noted. that's exactly why it's a thing. your ignorance fuels them.

What is it even supposed to mean?

It's just a way to identify Jews and push various conspiracy theories, anti-Semitism, alt-right ideas and whatnot. Different people do it for different reasons. I've seen it mostly on Twitter from people who are into the Jewish Conspiracy, neo-Nazis, various alt-right types, et al. Some of them may just be trolling.

JaxDog posts like what I've seen from people on Twitter.

You'll get a lot of information if you do a search on "triple parentheses".

I see it as mostly kookiness and part of the trend of some people (mostly unfulfilled males) to try to be offensive or outrageous online.
