Then those faux intellectual black liberals should buy up a couple miles of ocean front property and build the utopia they deserve.

True, I can see the logistics issue of having to setup metal detectors for "Black" Spring Break

Sir, wait staff lives on gratuity, and depriving them of this opportunity to earn income would be shameful.

It's literally a callback to slavery when the masters would set up designated crossing points for slaves who were attempting to escape in order to catch them. Or something along those lines, maybe.

Are those disapproving of Harrison County's action implicitly volunteering their town and neighborhood to host it?

Various cities have been running off Spring Breakers since the early '80s if not longer. But there has always been some other idiots willing to welcome them. They might finally be running out of idiots.

Kinda like apartments allow only 2 guests at pool and 50 people show up not adhering to rules. Funny how that works.

My nephew's FIL retired from the Atlanta PD. He was a captain.

You should hear him talk about Freaknik coming to Atlanta. He said it was like a crime wave of uncontrolled thugs turned loose on the city. Atlanta came down on them so hard they moved it to Dekalb Co. Then Dekalb came down on them hard. Finally in the late 90s they stopped having it altogether. It was a huge relief to LEO and citizens alike.

I'm sure 'black spring break' is no different.

Same basic thing, just no name. It started out as a picnic with HBU college students, but then it expanded and pulled participants not interested in college, only coeds and partying.

Atlanta ran them off because they were turning 75/85 into a parking lot. Just a big mess. I wonder how many places this has been now?

black spring break?

It's a time period where blacks don't have to go to work or school and can get drunk and high, have unprotected sex, commit crime, and cause general havoc, all on the taxpayers' dime.

It generally runs from January 1st to December 31st.
