Isn't that ironic. The one team who is on record stating they will not take a knee is the one team who can pull the NFL viewership out of the tank for week 3!

You think this had anything to do with what the ratings will be tonight? It's DALLAS on Monday Night Football! It was going to happen anyway!

Good grief, the grasping at straws this morning.....

The true melt will be if a cowboy kneels (i say 50/50 chance), followed by an even greater melt when you realize Jerry isn't gonna do shite about it.

Do you make new threads when old ones flop and people actually read the articles you post that seem to mostly contradict what your hyperbolic thread titles say?

Let's hope Jerry doesn't let the players be cowards and hide out in the locker room.

It's actually a rare proper use of irony on an internet message board.

ESPN (because it is cable and because it is terrible) is an albatross on ratings

dallas is the country's most followed team, also most hated which means most interesting

which one wins out?

Fact is, he is the owner and may do as he sees fit. I'm a viewer and will do as I see fit.

I won't melt. I will stop watching them. Let them know why.

Not really. But let's play this out for fun......

Zeke or Dak kneel, gets "fired", gets picked up immediately by a competitor who he has to play against, his team is that much shittier.

Zeke or Dak kneel, gets benched, same as above only they still gets all his contract money from JJ and he has that much time added to his career somewhere else. Oh and his team sucks even more. No star QB or RB? Good luck.

Jerry is playing a dangerous game, he targets his black protesting players it could be a slippery slope. Nobody else in the league is going to do that and he'd be on an island. NFLPA would sue. Owners could decide he's not looking out for the league's best interest and force him out. Not saying it's going to happen but it could result in the league forcing him to sell the team if it got really bad, like the former clippers owner, who was forced out for being a known racist.

Jerry is bluffing and he knows it. Any situation that anyone calls his bluff will be lose/lose for him, his brand, and his chance of winning a superbowl before he dies.

Bruh. I got Dez, Zeke, and Witten going tonight and I need to make up 23.5 points.

I'm watching.

I don't see that anything "hinges" on tonight.
#BoycottNFL is a marathon, not a sprint.
Weekly numbers are somewhat irrelevant; I'll be interested in longitudinal, annual data.

What is the O/U on how many cowboys kneel? I say over 5, but under10.

Dallas is Merica's team so they will get views and they won't disrespect the flag. That said, my buddy who is a lifelong Dallas fan said yesterday he's done with the NFL. I've never heard him talk politics but he did serve.

Id set it closer to 5, I'm going with 3. I'd say 10 Cardinals though, maybe more....
