They have been in decline years before the election build-up. CNN is MSNBC light; that's not saying much except more biased and left leaning news coverage.

I mostly read foreign and monetary policy news. For foreign policy my primary sources are people I know involved in operations and foreigners I've made friends with over the last 2 decades.

For monetary news: ron paul, peter schiff, zero hedge, Robert Murphy, david stockman etc.

MSM: bbc and al jazeera. By far the best two sources. I can get my middle east news from reporters living in the areas being reported on in some cases.

Sorry not sorry for sentence structure. On mobile

ETa: forgot all about lewrockwell.com I read it more than any other news source.

One America is quite new but not many know about it because CommunistCast is just one provider which won't carry it.

. Glad this election has opened more eyes to the PRAVDA which has been screwing us for far roo long..

I used to read/watch BBC, but Brexit ruined that for me. They also hate Trump, and they covered him about as well as CNN did.

I trust no one. I check at least 3 different source before considering a story to have legs...corroboration is key. THE GOOD JOURNALISTS ARE BEING RUINED BY SOCIAL MEDIA...SOCIAL MEDIA = LIES

OAN (one American news) is fantastic. We are with Eatel right now (temporary) due to rental home not capable of having DirecTV. Once our house is done we will be back to DirecTV where I can happily have OAN again. It's fantastically boring, what news should be. They read the news and move on.
Allows me to make my own opinion...what a novel idea!

FBN if I want to listen to additional commentary, I do enjoy Varney.

My few semi trusted news sources remaining might include:
Wall Street Journal
Fox Business
RealClear Politics (online)
BBC (maybe)
Drudge (but with filters)

FOX is ok in spots, but their schtick of fair and balanced wears on me. And there is entirely too little actual reporting in the evening.

My cable doesn't get OAN or Al Jazeera. Don't know about Bloomberg, may check it out.

I won't trust CNN, MSNBC, NYT, WAPO or the broadcast networks. That means I won't watch them much at all.

I tolerate NPR and PBS because they are left wing and don't pretend otherwise.

Print: I read NYT, WSJ, USA Today every day. I get them free at Starbucks.
Online.... I check Drudge at least 5 times a day and click on both left and right links.
Radio.. Rush
TV... Whatever the wife is watching. She usually watches Fox and ABC morning show.

Really best source for unadulterated news is https://8ch.net/pol/index.html. But there are tons of shills so you have to roll with the punches. This is often best source for breaking news. You'll also learn a lot of the horrific shite that goes on in the world.

https://www.zerohedge.com/ is good for economics.

Fox Business Channel is the only national news that I will watch.

Why FBN and not FNC?

Im a moderate dem and can't stand how far left or right cable media has become. I cant stomach CNN or FNC for long, although I watch both to get both perspectives (which is healthy IMO) NPR is ok I guess, but they're trending too far left.
