New York Times changes social media policies for its reporters

So long overdue. Absolutely astounding that the White House lead reporter Maggie Haberman was allowed these snarky retweets and reacts to other Trump related tweets which showed her extreme liberal bias.
Astounding that ANY straight news media entity allows its reporters to show bias and personal opinions in any public forum.
HABERS GONNA HABE

But social media presents potential risks for The Times. If our journalists are perceived as biased or if they engage in editorializing on social media, that can undercut the credibility of the entire newsroom.
We’ve always made clear that newsroom employees should avoid posting anything on social media that damages our reputation for neutrality and fairness. This memo offers more detailed guidelines.
Department heads will be responsible for ensuring that these guidelines are followed by all staff members in their departments. Violations will be noted on performance reviews.

I agree, taking away their right to #resist really violates their right of habeus corpus

Too late. We already know they are liars.
If that gossip rag wants credibiiity, clear the entire staff and start over.

Personally, I sort of think it's preferable to know what they really think.

Tucker took their public editor to task over this and the NYT fires her for being exceptionally reasonable

Will they all kneel in protest to the slave owners now?

So now they will just keep their bias and hate amongst themselves???
I liked it better when they exposed themselves.

Actually a good point that I hadn't considered, but I think we know they're left wing at this point.

Veritas must have some good stuff on them

Yeah, but I'm still happy knowing the full depths of their depravity.

It's astounding how the NYT has managed to turn itself around, while the WSJ went from good to being pure crap.

Haberman has actually been more sympathetic to Trump than many others if you follow her. That doesn't mean much, but the Left attacks her as a Trump apologist.

We must stop the hemorrhaging of truth! Make sure your libtard minions stop providing Trump proof of Fake News. If you don't, we will slam your performance reviews and you will have to find a real job!
WINNING MAGA!

Maybe in her official output that's printed in the NYT. If you follow her Twitter, she throws shade on DJT more than almost anybody with what she retweets.
She retweets like a MFer and it's all snarky and anti-Trump.
