It's the people who have called themselves Irish republicans who are behind this. Londonderry was always an IRA stronghold and the SDLP and Sinn Fein dominate their political scene. This garbage isn't happening in loyalist Northern Ireland. The Protestant and Unionist militias wouldn't tolerate it for a second.

I didn’t realize it until talking to a friend in the UK how disconnected the public is from elected officials. Notice she wasn’t elected. They bypassed a vote and nominated her mayor.

Tell me you didn't read before you commented. Londonderry may be in Northern Ireland, but it's far from loyalist. Look at the political makeup of its local councillors. They're almost entirely left-wing Irish nationalists from either Sinn Fein or the SDLP. The Irish nationalists are themselves self-loathing cucks who've betrayed everything they claim to have been fighting for, if they ever believed it in the first place.

UK is ate up with diversity / multiculturalism . It's ridiculous the extents they are now going to prove it. In terms of running things now, you have non ethnic British subjects running things. Mayor of London, Pakistani. PM ...Indian. Scotland, the land of William Wallace and Robert the Bruce....run by a Pakistani. Wales, run by a half Zambian half Welsh. Now Derry.

You see it in British TV and movies, even period peices. They HAVE to have a minority represented in order to show they are multi culturalist. I'm thinking it must be either a law or something that the industry there mandates.
