But you're ignoring the overriding point - Dems have proven they're willing to ignore the law. All this bill would do is give them cover while they continue to do whatever the frick they want on the border.

I just watched Schumer's statement. This is not what he said. Everything he said was moronic and wrong, but he didn't threaten what's stated. He said that if we don't pass this bill, Putin will 'walk all over Ukraine' and that we'd be fighting in eastern Europe in the near future. All of that is wrong, but it's not a threat to send US troops to eastern Ukraine.
Schumer is pushing so hard for this bill, you can rest assured that it's bad for America.

Easy explanation. Vote in people that follow his lead (no RINO's and as few Dems as possible). You act as if he had the establishment helping him but he just dropped the ball.
