Not sure I will ever see it, but gotta admit it's an interesting concept...

Democrats now control only 13 state legislatures (26%). If they lose 1 more they fall below the % needed to stop constitutional amendments.

What makes me nervous is the fact that Texas is dangerously close to going blue and if the trend continues Texas, NY and California become locks for the dems I'm more worried about this than my excitement for a convention of states

This map is a little confusing. Does this mean we have to flip one of the blue states? Or can we get one of the other states:
Colorado
Maine
Connecticut
Nebraska
New York

Why are some of those gray and some white?

I count 32 red states. I thought 34 are required to call the convention and 38 are required for ratification.

You sure ask a lot of questions

I actually haven't looked into it, just posted the link as fodder for the poliboard. But it would generate a nuclear meltdown that makes the Snowflake Rebellion tame by comparison

NY and Nebraska are unicameral, that's why they are white. I'd assume NY is blue and Nebraska is red, but I haven't looked it up.

It might take longer than many think (at least I hope). Because of the business-friendly environment, no state income tax, and fairly modest cost of living, there seems to be many conservative-type individuals/families from blue states pouring into Texas which may buffer that conversion to blue. Just look at the last census - Texas added four congressional seats, an unheard of number. Not all of those were snowflakes and minorities.
