I don't care who is in Ukraine. As an American it is none of my business. We currently sent 140 Billion to Ukraine. We have roughly 100 Million tax paying families in America. Each tax paying family is on the hook for $1400.

The whole de- natzification of Ukraine nonsense is pure Russian propaganda.
Well, the Russians have a history with that. When the Stasi had to arrest East Germans who wanted freedom they charged them with being Nazis.

Politico: Ukraine embraces far-right Russian ‘bad guy’ to take the battle to Putin
quote:
“We’re the bad guys but fighting really evil guys,” wisecracks Denis Kapustin.
For now, Ukraine is willing to embrace his form of bad guy. As a Russian militant who led eye-catching paramilitary raids into Russia from Ukrainian territory this year and last, Kyiv sees Kapustin has a role to play as an ally against President Vladimir Putin.
quote:
“Think of ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,’” adds Kapustin, who leads the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC), the largest of three anti-Kremlin Russian militias fighting for Ukraine. “Before, you just had good guys and bad guys dressed in black in cowboy movies, and then Clint Eastwood comes along and he’s dressed in black and fighting for good,” he says.
Kapustin is indeed dressed in black for his discussion with POLITICO in a downtown Kyiv hotel — though his clothing is free of any neo-Nazi logos or flashes. That’s despite the fact he runs a far-right apparel line of T-shirts and caps emblazoned with white nationalist and xenophobic imagery as well as the Nazi symbol 88 — the eighth letter of the alphabet twice being a not-so-subtle code for “Heil Hitler.”
“I walk a thin line,” Kapustin says, disputing the neo-Nazi label and noting, almost teasingly, that he doesn’t put swastikas on any of the T-shirts he flogs, as though that proves anything.

The Guardian
"I have nothing against Russian nationalists, or a great Russia," said Dmitry, as we sped through the dark Mariupol night in a pickup truck, a machine gunner positioned in the back. "But Putin's not even a Russian. Putin's a Jew."
Dmitry – which he said is not his real name – is a native of east Ukraine and a member of the Azov battalion, a volunteer grouping that has been doing much of the frontline fighting in Ukraine's war with pro-Russia separatists. The Azov, one of many volunteer brigades to fight alongside the Ukrainian army in the east of the country, has developed a reputation for fearlessness in battle.
But there is an increasing worry that while the Azov and other volunteer battalions might be Ukraine's most potent and reliable force on the battlefield against the separatists, they also pose the most serious threat to the Ukrainian government, and perhaps even the state, when the conflict in the east is over. The Azov causes particular concern due to the far right, even neo-Nazi, leanings of many of its members.
Dmitry claimed not to be a Nazi, but waxed lyrical about Adolf Hitler as a military leader, and believes the Holocaust never happened. Not everyone in the Azov battalion thinks like Dmitry, but after speaking with dozens of its fighters and embedding on several missions during the past week in and around the strategic port city of Mariupol, the Guardian found many of them to have disturbing political views, and almost all to be intent on "bringing the fight to Kiev" when the war in the east is over.
The Nation
"Five years ago, Ukraine’s Maidan uprising ousted President Viktor Yanukovych, to the cheers and support of the West. Politicians and analysts in the United States and Europe not only celebrated the uprising as a triumph of democracy, but denied reports of Maidan’s ultranationalism, smearing those who warned about the dark side of the uprising as Moscow puppets and useful idiots. Freedom was on the march in Ukraine.
Today, increasing reports of far-right violence, ultranationalism, and erosion of basic freedoms are giving the lie to the West’s initial euphoria. There are neo-Nazi pogroms against the Roma, rampant attacks on feminists and LGBT groups, book bans, and state-sponsored glorification of Nazi collaborators."

My favorite is when these puff pieces refer to Zelenskyy as "President". He's no longer President of Ukraine. His term has expired, and he chose to cancel Ukraine's elections. He rules by fiat.
In any other nation, the media would accurately describe him as a dictator.

It's literally been documented for years... but sure. Right wing conspiracy.

Yup. "Right-wing conspiracy theory" and "propaganda."

VOR certainly opened the door with this thread.

He will still deny it. It's what progs do. "If your facts don't align with my feelings, my feelings overrule your facts."

VOR's precious MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC and CBS did't tell him about this.

I give Nuland credit. At least she was smart enough to keep Tyahnybok on the outside when she ran the coup.
quote:
Pyatt: Yeah. I guess... in terms of him not going into the government, just let him stay out and do his political homework and stuff. I'm just thinking in terms of sort of the process moving ahead we want to keep the moderate democrats together. The problem is going to be Tyahnybok [Oleh Tyahnybok, the other opposition leader] and his guys and I'm sure that's part of what [President Viktor] Yanukovych is calculating on all this.
Nuland: [Breaks in] I think Yats is the guy who's got the economic experience, the governing experience. He's the... what he needs is Klitsch and Tyahnybok on the outside. He needs to be talking to them four times a week, you know. I just think Klitsch going in... he's going to be at that level working for Yatseniuk, it's just not going to work.

Mighty impressive collection of straw men you have there. Those khakis and navy shirts look familiar.
Do they shop at the same place those Patriot Front baws do?
Burden of proof is on you. If each of those things are as prevalent as you'd attest, then it should be pretty easy to provide pics.
I'm afraid you overplayed your hand beyond whichever Russian guy you referenced, however. Especially with the #MuhSouthernNazis and the swipe at Nick Fuentes. I don't know much about Fuentes himself, but I do know volumes on the hysterical, MSNBC addicts who are quick to call him some flavor of Nazi.

But there are nazis in Ukraine. Even if Maddow says otherwise

I don’t think anyone actually knows what the word Nazi even means anymore. It’s so overused
