A small, and I do mean small, population in Asia wiped out whole civilizations. From China, to India, to the Middle East, to Eastern Europe the Mongols went on a tear that makes ISIS seem like Frosty the frickin Snowman.

But lets get more current. Let us talk about the people who drink tea and gave us Dr. Who. The Brits conquered a fairly good chunk of the known world and they didn't do so with smiles and that charming deadpan humor we all have grown to love.

I hate to tell you this but most any group, religion, or what have you, has, when the chance came up, been royal dicks to the rest of the world. Africans sold slaves, Christians cheerfully butchered each other in the name of who was more correct in their vision of God, Communists erased whole populations to try and make Communism actually work.

Is ISIS truly awful? Yes. They are. They need to get some.

Go back a few hundred years and its the Christians who seem like a blight on the species. I know we want to point fingers at the Muslims and say "That's an evil we would not do" but we've done it and worse.

here's a question for you. Can Christians hate Muslims? I thought Jesus taught against that sort of thing? Hate the sinner, not the sin?

They might not be involved, but they are comfortable with it. Where are the moderate Muslims, blitz? Where can I see their efforts to defeat these radicals? They have been silent, and you know what they say about silence:

"Fools, said I, you do not know

It is the moral duty of "moderate" Muslims to stop this madness, and they, AT BEST, have done nothing.
