There are uncanny similarities between the Q movement (if you want to call it that) and Operation Trust that happened like 100 years ago when the Bolsheviks took over Russia. Both thought there was some white hat army coming to save them. “Trust the Plan”. Ultimately, the goal is to glue people in their houses. By the time people in Russia realized what was going on it was too late. You should tell your friend to look it up and see if a lightbulb turns on

We must know the same guy. I graduated HS in 88 and had a very close knit group of 7 guys who are still today close as brothers. The one who was the most oblivious to politics suddenly became a lunatic around November of 2020. He and his wife started watching all of the X22 podcasts, etc.. The goalposts constantly move for him. Trump was still President and it was all a sting to round up the bad actors. “Just trust me guys. They have it all!Trump has the Generals behind him and this was a trap” etc.. He still believes it as strongly today. The things that he believed were going to happen in Jan. 2006, but didn’t, were just a mis-read on the timeline of events that would install Trump back in office. He has actually been President this whole time running things and Biden is over a shadow government, etc..
We have all tried to break him out of hypnotic state to no avail. He is dug in deep and it is fascinating to observe. We all are right wing guys and agree about how corrupt to the core all facets of American institutions are and we all loathe the Marxist left. We know what we are up against. But none of us are brainwashed by the type of beliefs that have taken hold of him. We have been very concerned for where his mind went and remains since 2020. He is unbending and not the least bit questioning of the insane stuff he reads and hears from these podcasts. He is actually pretty arrogant and says we are all ignorant and that he is trying to wake us up. It truly has been fascinating to watch.

Correct. He and the others were cremated and buried at sea a few days later. A friend from that area knows the guy that handled the cremation. He actually had to explain this to a woman we know that was claiming JFK Jr was coming back.

This is where I'm at. There is a great deal of truth in the Q stuff, sure. But nothing ever happens, and I think that's to A) condition you to see their depravity and rub your nose in it 2. To wait for some mythical white knight that doesn't exist and c- to force those who could do something to sit in the sidelines and be labeled as crazy.
It's been very effective.

I agree with this because you learn many things along the way. Discernment is key though. Being able to discern the truth is where some people fail. Some people have terrible discernment and they get caught up.
There’s a lot of people out there that don’t read crap outside of a headline, or they only see a 3 min clip on a network that has proven to mislead and manipulate people. These people are every bit as bad because they ultimately don’t know anything. That doesn’t stop them from arrogantly dismissing everything because they are “above that”. I see these people in the same vein because they have been duped on some level too

I think a lot of people are walking a tight rope between keeping their shite together and a full blown mental breakdown. Things like Q and covid sent some of them into a downward spiral. Don’t laugh at them. Have mercy.
