My Professor put the planned discussion on hold today

To talk about the travel ban. This is a political theory class; we normally talk about Plato and Socrates. Today, however, he wanted to hear our opinions on the ban. Despite this, he spent the entire fifty minutes ranting about how we are now a "soulless" nation and Donald Trump is a bully. At one point he even said illegal immigrants aren't illegal because the law is objective and can be wrong and how our country is a terrorist state because we start wars. It was literally nonsense.

Our department (I work in Academia) is in the process of making a "You Are All Welcome" 10-minute video headed by our leading safe-space instructor and some other flakies. I wasn't invited to participate . . . prolly cuz my MAGA poster and outspoken MAGA-ness!!!

My Indian professor stopped class the other day to bitch about Trump and America and then looked a black kid dead in the face and asked him why black people felt like their problems were more important than those of Indians and Chinese folks.

See, I don't get this. Maybe things have changed a frickton since 2004, but hell I had an avowed Marxist teach one of my political philosophy courses. Never once did he interject his personal opinions when teaching. That was the same with all of my very left leaning Philosophy and PoliSci professors.

Well it's funny, I've always been an Auburn fan but I go to UA. Still the biggest Auburn fan. Most of my professors here have been unbiased, but this guy is an immigrant from Brazil I think. He is so far left that it literally doesn't make any sense.
