Truth, but they can still find wrongdoing and impeachment can still happen, although unlikely unless congress changes in 18.

I dont even think civil cases can proceed against a sitting Pres. They have to wait until the end of his term.

He can investigate, but he can not prosecute. If he finds any evidence of wrongdoing, then he is allowed to give it to Congress, then Congress can vote to impeach.
The Special Prosecutor does not have to have as strong a case as in a normal prosecution.
This smells from miles away.
The SP was created to investigate Russian collusion and they found nothing, They started investigating Obstruction of Justice for firing Comey. They can't get him on that since the DOJ suggested Trump fire comey. Now they plan to investigate anything. Trump needs to ask SP if they have found any wrongdoing in Russina Investigation. If they say no, then he needs to tell Roesnestein to shut it down. If Rosenstein does not, then he needs to fire both of them.
