I would get a huge chuckle if the D's smell blood in the water and take Thad down by flooding the race with money. Then Thad can whine about outside money buying the election. The irony would be delicious.
I can imagine ads with Cochran mocking the Tea Party...twisting the knife so to speak.
And then hit em' with the "indecent things with animals" audio to embarrass the Christians.
Good grief. Cochran has bought himself a ton of hurt...any way you cut it. His best bet is to apologize to the Tea Party...and get his senile old arse in reformation line. Lead, follow or get the hell out of the way.

What happens to independent voters in Ms? Are they allowed to vote in any primary? I was just wondering. Seems like true independents get the shaft if they could not vote in either D or R primary.
Can vote in either primary. I'm a registered independent. There wasn't even a place on the form to declare a party.
You can vote in either party's primary. The only thing you can't do is vote in one party's primary and the other party's runoff.
