So this Christina Harvey will support term limits for Congress, correct?

His bill would allow the president to nominate a justice to the Supreme Court every two years — in the first and third years following a presidential election. The longest-serving judges would achieve senior status first.
“Extremists on the Supreme Court have undermined our democracy and fundamental freedoms by gutting voting rights, opening the floodgates to unlimited corporate money in our elections, and reversing 50 years of precedent by overturning Roe v. Wade,” Christina Harvey, executive director of Stand Up America, said in a statement.
“No one deserves power for life,” Harvey said in a statement. “That’s why 49 out of 50 states have either term limits, elections, or age limits for their highest courts.”
So this Christina Harvey will support term limits for Congress, correct?

Hm, why not an amendment to the US Constitution, because, Article 3 doesn't say shite about term limits for Justices?
Yeah, I want term limits for the legislature for sure, but if USSC doesn't say so, amend it.
If 49 states agree, it should be child's play to get the state legislatures to approve an amendment. But, they're confused? It's PR.

Trust but verify has morphed into distrust and examine. At least for me. But the general public is snowed. You may have seen the studies done in the UK that if someone is wearing a white coat and holding a clipboard (symbols of authority), the majority of the public will give them passwords in exchange for a chocolate bar, etc.?

Congress first. The truth is that Congress and SCOTUS both suck. Congress is increasingly dominated by long tenures and corruption and the courts are over populated by Big Gov stooges.
Longest SCOTUS justice was about 37 years.
Chuck Schumer went to Harvard (shocker) and immediately went into politics. Been in politics for about 50 years now, continuously. Not a single day in the real world. In Congress for about 45 years, continuously.
Lindsey Graham has been in DC for about 30yrs and was a state politician before that.
McConnell has been in the Senate since 1985 (39yrs).
Career politicians and career judges. Both are bad for the nation.
Average time for SCOTUS justices is about 17yrs. We have two people right now in the House with 42yrs (at start of this Congress) in Congress. Harold Rogers and Christopher Smith. Chuck Grassley has been in the Senate for 42yrs as of convening the current Congress.
About 1/4 of the House has been there longer than 12yrs. In the Senate it's about 43%.

Avg length of service in the Senate is about 12yrs now.
As of 2022 the longest active time in Congress:
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) — 47 years*
Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) — 45 years*
Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) — 41 years*

Right now, 19 states have called for a Constitutional Convention. If that number reaches 34 states, a Constitutional Convention is set and the 50 states can make all kinds of changes to the Federal Gooooooooooooberment and US Constitution.
