Dumb Dumb... I never said the IRS didn't target conservative groups. I said the question remains as to whether they targeted them, "profiled" if you will, because their job is to deny groups which are political in nature and groups with the name "tea party" have a good chance of being political, or whether they're out to "punish" tea party groups. The Koch Brothers are involved in 17 "non-profit" groups which spent $407 million in 2012. Karl Rove's group spent over $100 million in 2012. You would think if the IRS wanted to "punish" Obama's political enemies, they'd punish his actual enemies and deny those groups tax exempt status considering they have no business being labeled "social welfare" groups.
Interestingly, yahoos like you want the government to profile muslim looking people at airports and black people in white neighborhoods (like old Harry Lee) because those people are more likely to be offender. Well a group called SEC Crazy Tea Party is more likely not to be an organization dedicated to "social welfare" than say a group called Little Sisters of the Poor.
On a side note, to anyone even thinking about being admitted into Opelousas General.............. DO NOT.
Seriously. DO NOT.
That is all.

When presidential candidates raise and spend $1 billion for their campaigns I don't think $407 million is all that large an amount to spend on every possible election in the United States. There were 435 election for the House of Representatives, 34 Senate elections and too many state and local elections to count. Why shouldn't the Koch brothers, and anyone who hold similar views, be able to contribute as much as they want to whatever political campaigns they desire?
