Is there a military coup going on in US that I'm not aware of?

Would have been really easy for colonists to run back into the arms of England but they chose to stand and fight in grueling conditions. Colonies had to sneak food into Boston to ensure militia and colonist families didnt starve to perserve the revolution after British soldiers occupied the city.
Colonist families suffered but through that a free country was born. Had they ran back to england as torries and pledged allegience to the crown rather than withstand the lesser life for the glory of freedom we might still be a British colony.
So my comment was not poorly written and I meant every word of it. You deemed it poorly written because you do not understand it. You would flee your country for the "better" life just as quick as Benjamin Church would turn over information to General Howe.
Colonists faced the greatest military power in the world with mere militia. No navy. Overwhelming odds of failure. You cant sit here and tell me that it is acceptable that a citizen would escape their country because the systems to ensure the voice of the people and their vote went against your belief. They are cowards. Im still here. I still have a home. I still have my family. I still have a job. They dont have it now...they also have no country.

So it appears their ability to migrate illegally is restricted to moving in a northern direction.
Forget building a wall. Just screw with their sense of direction and let South America deal with the invasion.

Oh ok. So you ARE applying this to all immigrants. Easy to say from where you are sitting, I guess.
Maybe if you came from a country with limited natural resources where corruption was rampant you'd have a different take.

We could have trains straight through our country to Canada just like Mexico does (or did) with Central Americans.
This is a federally subsidized rail system I could go along with!
