Trudeau, this is what happens when you allow emotion to override practicality.
Who's paying for all of these homeless, jobless refugees?
I sympathize with their plight; but this was a disaster in the making.

ASYLUM seekers have overwhelmed the migration system in Canada after the election of Donald Trump prompted thousands to flee to the country, it is claimed.

Stuck in legal limbo, the families who have fled to Justin Trudeau's famously liberal nation, are struggling to get through the process, blocking them from working.

This year is set to be the biggest year for illegal migration since 2011.

Contreras, who spends his days at a local library or working out in the hotel gym, says he has been repeatedly rejected by landlords.

He said: "They just said that they didn't rent places to refugee claimants.

"(They) said that refugees don't have jobs and probably wouldn't pay."

Lol these idiots. They shouldnt be allowed back in here either. In my mind there are few greater acts of cowardice than choosing to renounce and abandon one's country. To flee rather than fight for her and your stand is to also renounce your allegiance to her.

Human nature is the same no matter where you go. No matter how liberal a person is, once you are a risk to not pay for a service or product, you can go frick yourself.

I would bet $100 that same person denying them a place to rent hates Donald Trump as well.

Did you just word this poorly or are you trying to make a dig at immigrants across the board? Because I can assure you that leaving everything you own to make a better life for your children in the midst of say, a military coup, is hardly cowardly.

I wonder if there is a way to advertise Canada on Spanish language media.

We could have trains straight through our country to Canada just like Mexico does (or did) with Central Americans.

wtf are they seeking asylum from? Mexico's bad economy?

As if someone that is having trouble finding a job in the US can just head over to Germany or Switzerland and claim asylum status.

Canada needs to raise taxes immediately to pay for whatever it takes to resolve this problem. I don't want to hear shite about it not being affordable either

Is there a military coup going on in US that I'm not aware of?

not to fear. We'll have a shuttle system from the wall straight to Canada. Call it the "coyote express" and they will love us for it

There is an attempted coup going on but I don't think the democrats have enlisted the military yet, just the IC and media

Can you read?

He made a general statement not specific to the premise in the OP. Now run along.

I don't. They were idiots for running and shot themselves in the foot. Canada should ship them back to their home countries on the slow boat of sadness and we can thank them for saving the American taxpayer a few bucks in the process.

To the left, a Republican in the White House counts as a coup.
