After the tummy tuck thugs incident and the talk of war on the drug cartels they send an 'im sorry' letter. These punks will be hiding in their tunnels once the might of US military action starts.

IF Ukraine falls America will need to find a new place to spend billions per month on military hardware.

The Cartels should be scared. Because we are not invading Canada.

It’s not like we don’t know where they are. Our CIA has been working with them for decades.

The US military is the HR department for the cartels and the border is still open.

If that's the case, then why did we take out El Chapo? He kept the peace by Mexican cartel standards.

That is the answer! Beat them down with CYA anti-discrimination videos featuring dialogue that main have been heard in the 1940's.

No lie< I had to watch a video once about an Irish guy deeply offended by drunk jokes.

That is not mission critical.

He wanted more money, or he was cutting them out of some shipments.

Sabre rattling. As long as our borders are open, anything said is just lip service

That note and the photos of the guys they turned over were like a scene out of Narcos.

The last thing we need is to elevate another conflict, but a few dead cartel leaders will not cost me any lost sleep.

Closing the borders would cut down on most of the drugs but then stopping ecommerce would be the issue. Border closing would be a great start. The Mex Prseident is almost as liberal as Biden.

By taking out a very powerful cartel member it let's the other leaders wonder who might be next.

Besides, El Chapo tortured and killed DEA Agent Kiki Camarena.

Taiwan says hi.

Although you are probably right, a proxy war with China and supporting Taiwan, that is probably straight up unwinnable and would result in economic collapse.

It's weird because Mexican Americans get kidnapped and killed all the time there. Why now is this big news?

I cannot believe some of you actually think that droning some compounds/targeted SPECOPS will do anything whatsoever to solve the cartel issue.

You learned nothing from 2001-2021.

Cartels will just do what the Taliban did.

They'll win in the end.

This. Half measures always fail, and full measures are not an option here.

Secure the border, from our side. That is the way forward.
