I don't know these random people, nor do I care that they are gone. I am confident they would hold the same sentiments towards me, and that's perfectly fine.

Sad fact.
If the person would have deported immediately or the borders would have been stronger, then this would not have happened.
Weak policies and enforcement over the last 20-30 years by both parties have led to the moment.

I'm able to feel compassion for both. Maybe you try this sometime if you're able instead of always being so angry all the time. I think you'll find you'll have a much more satisfying life.
