Now all of a sudden Bezos is the world's richest man. LINK How did that happen?

I know they are being subsidized by the Post Office I hear they get two dollars off for every package that's delivered. Who else gets that kind of deal? Maybe TRUMP is right and Congress should look into them in regards to monopoly laws.

Bezos owns a lot of Amazon stock

he's promoted the stock price over the company making profits since, forever

Getting a discount for mass use is not the same thing as subsidization.

As an Amazon Prime member, I have never received an Amazon package through the US Postal service.

If you received a package on Sunday it was through the USPS.

Who else ships as many packages as Amazon? If the company that ships an equal or greater number of packages as Amazon knew how to negotiate then they could work a similar deal

The Post Office came to them to cut that deal because they were desperate to undercut UPS/Fedex

Maybe nobody else can ship that many packages because they can't compete with Amazon because Amazon gets a deal that nobody else gets.

Kinda sounds like crony capitalism.

Amazon continually reinvested their retained earnings back into the company

Amazon didn't need that deal. The USPS did.

Or maybe Amazon can ship that many packages because millions of people buy their product on their amazing website, and has top notch customer service

And just who is the USPS? That's use the tax payers. Do we really need to be subsiding Amazon like that via the USPS?

It's really a bad deal for those poor taxpayers who aren't using Amazon.
