Me and the wife are off work today, I'm on the couch cat napping and she's watching Ellen.

So I wake up and the wife is watching Ellen. I guess it's the 20th anniversary of Ellen coming out as a lesbian on an episode of her old sitcom "Ellen" (uhh, we all knew). There's Oprah, Laura Dern, Michelle Obama, etc. All of them are gushing over this monumental moment in gay history with clips of various celebrities congratulating Ellen on being so brave.
This historic moment, that was brought to my attention thanks to my wife and Ellen made me wonder...., We need statues that reflect today's enlightened society, that honor today's heroes. We need to begin renaming streets, schools, government buildings, monuments, etc. after as many LGBTQ..XYZ people that are worthy of such an honor. I submit Ellen as a worthy recipient of such an honor.
It's time people, this measure would be indicative of true healing across our great country.
I know this comes off as a little patronizing to this under appreciated segment of our society but I'm ready for the country to come together and truly be the nation we all know it can be.
It's still MAGA, just in a twisted sorta way.

I remember when she came out,no big deal.But then she made her show about her being a victim because someone didn't want her to babysit because she was a lesbo.
