Hell, look at 60s radicals like Bill Ayers and . They HATED the man. Until their man, became The Man. Now... they love them some government.

It's a continual cycle.

Well here's one. You contended that everyone was "too jaded" to be persuaded by simple polls, and were predictably silent when other posters accused the OP of trolling, or having a tired act or schtick. Perhaps you can offer some clarification RE: what you actually meant.

I don't think I need a translator to explain what I meant. There were a half dozen "polls" posted a day.

I had always predicted an Obama win. Romney, the establishment candidate represents the old, dead GOP

Its been common knowledge on here that McConnell would easily cruise to the GOP nomination...so nothing new there.

BUT I will ask you amoung others, WHAT exactly about the 'Tea Party' that makes you deem them so bad/evil...?

Please give SPECIFICS, all I have got from most 'them be a bunch of right-wing nutz...'

Deficit reduction?
High taxation?
Massive government intrusion?
An illegal criminal hostile takeover of the Nations healthcare system?
Massive federal budget deficits?
Little or no job creation?

I'm stunned that a corporate crony incumbent wins again.

Some people think they're better from everyone else and are entitled to control other people's lives through government violence. They have a visceral hatred of anyone who questions that "right".

The problem is all these incumbents are winning by running as hardcore no compromise conservatives.

It's not really surprising when these incumbents are winning by running non stop ads touting how conservative they are. Of course people will vote for them

It would be more telling if these candidates were winning running ads about how they are a compromising moderate and "reach across the aisle to get things done" type of politician, but they aren't.

I have not been impressed with McConnell but to be totally honest there are only a couple of politicians in Washington that do impress me.

I never believed McConnell was in jeopardy of losing the primary but apparently there are some from his home state not happy with his or d.c.'s performance to date.

He won, those who did not support him in the primary will support him in November.

As far as money goes, I have never heard anything about his wealth or personal life until it was mentioned in this thread.

it's completely manufactured hate generated with the assistance of the MSM

the idea of smaller government and more freedom is anathema to those in power

I tell you what NT...I went to Beck's gathering of Tea Party folk on the Mall up in DC....so you take the Occupy people and the Obama electoral demographic for your neighbors and I'll take the Tea Party bunch. And we'll see which of us end up with a solid neighborhood and life.

The Tea Party has PUSHED even the RINOS back to the Right; the Right being economic responsibility and stopping the march to insolvency, collapse and a street fight.

Screw Authoritarian Socialism. Freedom rocks. But only if one can handle it. The problem has now become...that most can't handle freedom.

Oh well. Obama will fix it.

Um, no. But it is telling about you though that you'd rather a wimp like McConnell who will cave to Obama and the democrats rather than somebody who will stand up to them.

McConnell is Status Quo Washington. It's sad that he got reelected. The National People's Congress in China has higher turnover than the U.S. Congress does.

Why would you dislike the Tea Party?

How many people who hate the Tea Party are just going along with popular opinion? Do these people really even know what the Tea Party stands for?

I wonder how he attracted an Asian billionaire chick?

I'm guessing it was his personality.

Doesn't matter, Mitch will lose the general in a state Romney carried by like 29 pts because the Ds that switched to help him won't vote for him in the general and the Rs are split and if just 20% of the tea party stays home that seat turns blue.
