Damn, ten years ago. About the time his career kicked off I'd imagine. I guess you were at optimal level of job performance your first days or years on the job. Most people get better at their job over the years.

I'm not defending McCain by any stretch, because I think he's a bum, but I suspect that lots of politicians speak down to those they perceive to be underlings, which is everyone.

Why are you emphasizing Doucey's kid as the reporter? Why not directly say that, McCain is (like Trump) a hyberbolic showboat hothead? Even NT's boyfriend asucuck admits McCain is simply stonewalling out of spite. He likes that McCain is leading this way. He doesn't like the Trump leads that way though.
