And when the state government decides to check them, it will take care of itself. If the state doesn't do it, the feds will eventually. My point was more about getting and staying elected. Locals determine who holds that office. If they aren't bothered by his membership in the group, then it's okay for him to be a member. That doesn't mean he can do whatever he wants just because they support him. That isn't what I was trying to say. I realize it may have come off that way.
