They have realized that this global warming scam is running out of steam so its time to cook up some more bullshite to steal money from taxpayers and carry out bogus research. These people are fricking amazing.

Bingo. Notice how desperate and hyperbolic the language has suddenly become. Everything is suddenly "10 times worse" than expected and the world is going to flood, all the animals are going to die, and there's nothing we can likely do about it anyway....UNLESS we go all in right now with their solution of anti capitalist worldwide wealth redistribution and depopulation.

You act like extinction is a bad thing, you wouldn't be here without it

Well. It is bad for the species living at the time of the event.

That would be us.

No, its bad for the species becoming extinct, and no mention of the new ones being mutated. Too much negativity in that article.

Small things can have big impacts on the food chain and it's difficult to predict. Think about the role something like bees play in pollinating and what happens to multiple layers of the food chain if they go extinct.

If the adjustment requires evolution, then you're talking a very long term problem.

Notice how it's dire but there is a short window to act. Give money now. Hey, incidentally does anyone know the cause of one of the other known mass extinctions? Co2 levels dropped too low and the earth glaciated all the way down to the equator, killed nearly all life on the planet. I'm gonna go run my car on idle in the driveway to help make sure we have plenty of sweet co2 keeping us warm and safe

I can win the lottery by picking the right numbers, but its difficult..Small things tend to have small impacts, and that's easy to predict. You seem to have missed the part where I implied that life evolves, birth and death.. but it appears the climate has to stay the same.

And you seemed to have missed the point that the top of the food chain tends to feel the impact when lower parts of the chain are disrupted.

The answer isn't "it will fix itself" unless you're ok with widespread famine. All you have to do is look at the history of civilization. Our time is no different...... except: in bioengineering. That would be our advantage.

Again this article is a joke and is saying nothing more than species are dying and fails to mention species are being discovered/created.

The rich aren't overpopulating ENOUGH.

Did not even click on the link.

With that said, how much money must be collected (confiscated) to avert calamity?
