When did Landrieu ever vote against keystone?

According to Ms. Piggy she was such a powerful senator as Chairperson of the Energy Committee, yet Dingy Harry told her to go make him a sandwich and wouldn't even let her bring it to a vote.

Yeah, really f*cking powerful and really looking out for Louisiana!

So the democrats treat the wacko environmentalist like the republicans treat small government conservatives---with disdain to be abused.

All of a sudden when another Senate seat is in danger the environmental impact of the Keystone is of little concern.

As long as I buy certified pre-owned we're all good, right?

Not to sound like a Cassidy commercial but Mary was only moderate because she lived in LA. If Mary lived in CA, her voting record would have made her a liberal.

No kidding. Liberals love to control the message. The message that Mary Landrieu is a moderate is laughable considering her voting record.

One of Mary's points in why folks should vote for her was that she was the Chair of a committee Cassidy "couldn't even get a seat on". Guess who Mitch has promised a seat on that committee?

And guess what Harry Reid is now considering to allow a vote on? LINK

People can say what they want about Obama, but to me Harry Reid has been the single worst problem in Washington.

Obama is the problem. Reid has just been the firewall to protect Obama from having to veto a bunch of popular bills.

Without Reid setting the agenda for the Senate, I see the Manchins and Heinklamps of the caucus crossing over.

I disagree. Reid being a stooge is the problem. If Reid weren't such a partisan hack, he would take a stand for things that matter (like Keystone, jobs bills, Iran sanctions, etc). Instead, his toadying allows the Dems to obfuscate issues behind the "obstructionist" label for the GOP (and a complicit media doesn't help much, but thankfully that's changing).

It's a more of a matter of tomato/tomah-to, but I believe Reid bears more blame simply for letting this travesty go on. How many years did he block votes on a budget?? He had a choice, he's always had one.

Obama chose his own personal conviction, and although I don't agree with it I can at least respect where it's coming from. Reid just chose to be a puppet. frick that guy.

Its the moderates like Landrieu that are getting voted out.

She started out as a moderate, but ever since the D supermajority, she's crept more and more to the left.
