French presidential candidate and leader of the right-wing National Front party Marine Le Pen is gaining more support, leading with 25 to 26 percent of the vote, according to the latest Ipsos Sopra Steria survey, carried out for Cevipof and Le Monde.
Francois Fillion comes in second, with 23 to 25 percent of the vote, and Emmanuel Macron – also gaining support – is third with 19 to 21 percent.

The fluctuation in the percentages depends on the eventual Socialist Party candidate, as yet unnamed. The party’s candidate could be former Prime Minister Manuel Valls, former Minister of Industrial Renewal Arnaud Montebourg, or former Minister of Education Benoit Hamon.

If she wins this would be an even bigger victory against globalism

She's been leading. The problem is she faces an uphill battle in the runoff

Since I would like to safely visit Europe one day, among many other reasons, I hope these national parties win across the board.
I really don't understand how any non-moronic non-Muslim could feel any differently.

Those numbers don't mean anything right now, but I'm hopeful.

That would be bigger than Brexit and Trump.

Hell, even if the guy leading 2nd in the polls wins (Fillon), it's a big shift from that Commie that's there now.

Wouldn't surprise me if there was a French version of Brexit. No one has borne the brunt more than France.

When's the last time we saw an attack in France? I always wonder if these groups plan to lay low prior to elections like this.

The problem with the French is that they are Lemmings and like to be herded like sheep. I don't know if Le Pen has the personality to herd the notoriously fickle French Lemmings. Isis has been quiet, as to not stir the pot.

No wonder I don't speak French

Who will the press blame if Germany and France turn right?
