Congress takes the entire week off and what does Marco do? He goes overseas to ensure allied nations are upholding their ends of the deal and to push American policy. Marco truly is the people's warrior and Trump knows he is the man to represent the US government to heads of state although the Secretary of State more traditionally fits that role.

I'm totally fine with what he's doing, but you gotta admit, it's pretty nice to get a free trip to France and Germany....

Since this is not a vacation and he's the voice of the government to the EU I don't blame him. It would be the same as if your employer sent you to Europe in business.
