I like that he used "subprime" just to portray a connection to subprime lending even though they would be two completely different scenarios.

I know where I work. It's the same type of thing as where you work. Research Hospital type of thing. I know how our funding works. I know how budgets work. It's what I do. So yeah... guess I know at least a little.

And there's your mistake - you think people suffering health problems made bad choices, rather than being inflicted by something they largely had no control over.
The #1 cause of death in this country is heart disease. The overwhelming #1 cause of heart disease is obesity. Also, the #1 health risk in this country is obesity. 37% of AA men are obese, 50% of AA women are obese, and a lot of white people are also obese. Obesity is an option. Everyday I get out of bed and exercise, a lot. Then I eat really clean, which is not the tastiest shite. And then I deal with my kid's whining and bitching because I won't let him eat poorly. I don't have major health problems because of the decisions I make everyday. My family is much less likely to have health problems for the above mentioned reasons. Now those of you who don't exercise and eat healthy, stop taking my fricking money because you lack discipline and think the world is out to get you!

You have to understand that she's a complete and total shill that lies to attempt to gain support for her position. She knows everything you typed is true. However, she goes to the dead bodies piling up in the street and what about the kid with cancer card every damn time. She's so predictable that's it's funny.
ETA: The use of subprime in regards to healthcare is nothing more than liberal propaganda. The term in the industry for limited benefit plans is limited benefit plans.

It's very important to not cherry pick my response and keep it in context!

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I make the mistake of assuming people on here are adults who had parents to teach them the difference between right and wrong.

And genetics. Everyone doesn't have the same metabolism. There are also issues for some people (especially the poor) having access to nutritious foods rather than unhealthy alternatives.

That's not the few, that's the many. Your perception of who needs medical care in this country is skewed by your limited exposure.

Let's be totally transparent here: what's your height and weight and your exercise regiment and diet?

You weren't aware that genes play a role in metabolism? That explains your mistaken views.

Hi, I'm BamaAtl and I'm going to narrowly focus on one specific statement and cling to it because I know the rest of my argument is full of shite.
ETA: BRB....going to ask all the metabolic fatties in Bangladesh their opinion on this subject.
