When pressed on the matter, Tillerson flatly stated that the wall isn’t a topic of conversation for him and Vidergaray. “It’s just not part of our discussions between the foreign minister and myself,” he said.

But Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said the topic wasn’t off limits for him. During a separate interview on ABC Sunday, Rubio said that in his meetings, the wall did come up?—?and that Mexico refuses to pay for it but the United States should.

“Let me just say, Mexico’s not going to pay for the wall. And, by the way, America should, if we believe that’s in our national interests to do so,” the Florida senator told Stephanopoulous.

Let's Review Marco's stance on immigration reform:

1. We must secure the border. (takes at least 20,000 more additional border agents. It takes completing those 700 miles of fencing.)

2. 90% apprehension, 100% surveillance. Set up border commissions along the nine sectors and hold them accountable.

3. Mandatory e-verify system and a mandatory entry/exit tracking system to prevent overstays which currently accounts for 40% of illegals.

4. Only once the border is secure and a mandatory e-verify is in place : those here illegally must come forward and be registered, those who qualify would be allowed to apply for a temporary nonimmigrant visa, those who qualify for a nonimmigrant visa will have to remain in this status for at least a decade.

Marco is the only person in the US government who has a sensible plan on immigration reform. No matter what, as Marco has attested, we must build the wall first and foremost!

Look, I voted for Rubio in the GOP primary here in TN. But your schtick is way past tired.

It's been an evolution with him. One person's evolution on an issue is another person's flip flop. I was against the wall before I was for it.... Or something like that.

After Rand was finished Rubio was my guy too. But I have to say his new found continual desire to go to war with Russia is extremely unsettling

I love it

Marco is the only one with a plan that works

Plan requires illegals to come in and register.

OleWarSkuleAlum, I can't figure it out....
A. You really like Marco that much.
B. You're campaign staff that didn't get the memo.
C. You're his bestie David Rivera.

Mexico’s not going to pay for the wall

With Trump's deportations, a couple of plants building here instead of Mexico (except Found on road dead) and a few other little fees, etc. for money being sent to Mexico. The free cheese we have been paying for some of the freeloaders gone...the wall will pay for itself in less than 4 years indirectly by Mexico.

Don't try to argue with them, they don't understand tariffs or trade deals.
