Manafort/Assange Drama Proves Media Will Buy Any Russia Conspiracy Story

Even on first read the story seemed difficult to believe. It was based on anonymous sources so non-descript that they could be any of literally millions of people. A document from Ecuador’s Senain intelligence agency allegedly claimed a “Manaford” had visited Assange along with “Russians.”
quote:
Since the visitor logs for the Ecuador embassy are public and show no mentions of Manafort, the story had to come up with a convenient excuse for why he was missing from the logs.
quote:
So let’s look at how people who present themselves as newsmen or thoughtful pundits handled this extremely unverified story.
quote:
Weekly Standard editor at large Bill Kristol tweeted, “What campaign chair hasn’t held secret talks with Julian Assange in the Ecuadoran embassy in London?” He later deleted the tweet without explanation.
quote:
The authors expected people to believe that Manafort and Assange, two highly surveilled people, had not one, not two, but three meetings never noticed by intelligence agencies? Most crazy of all was the notion that this explosive piece of collusion evidence was real but never leaked until now. And no one picked up on any of these three visits on congressional committees or among the media?

Pretty much *everyone* other than the Guardian was immediately skeptical about the claims in that article.

any thinking human knows this was all a charade, it's a shame that there will be no prosecutions for this

The media is in on the entire thing. They all are owned by liberal millionaires/billionaires that are running cover to control the narrative for the Dems.....all on same team. Fox is now run by Rupert Murdochs liberal son, so you can see their drift to the left as we speak. It's scary to look to the future...

Read the article. There are about 100 examples of people falling out in ecstasy over that news!

The right should start floating their own fake stories. Why is the left the only side that can create BS from thin air?

Should start?

The same type of people that ran the "piss for equality" troll, where feminazies got duped into posting pictures of themselves on social media with urine-stained crotches are running a game on the MSM and their Russia collusion narrative. After one or two more of these the normies will completely reject anything the MSM tries to present on the subject. Once that happens we will see the true crimes of the Dems/Rinos/pizza gate players made public, as the now totally discredited MSM will be unable to sweep any of it under the rug.
