it won't.

I support feminism and I agree with 95% of mainstream feminism says, maybe 99%. But they do a really fricking shitty job selling their cause.

You can try to strive for better behavior without being an a-hole to everyone, and feminists can be giant assholes, especially on the internet.

It's easy, just don't listen to them.

I support equality but I don't support feminists because they think women are superior to men.

wave 2 feminists certainly do, but most don't.

But they come off as giant asswipes. They talk down to people, use code words, get pissy if you don't agree with everything they say, and in general aren't particularly fun to be around.

That's not so easy when male bashing is ingrained in almost every TV program, commercial and movie.

Hard to sell a shitty cause that many people don't agree with.

reality is that most people would agree with most of their suggestions. Are you seriously going to disagree that women should be treated with respect?

That is what feminism is about, but they get stuck in ratholes about terminology, and "checking your privilege" and crap like that.

Quite the opposite, I'm not nearly enough of a pussy to allow the "mean" tantrums of bull dykes to rustle jimmies. I didn't spend half of high school inside a locker though, so I can't really relate to your story.

What does that mean? Treated with respect because they are women? Why? Equal, but need special laws and special treatment? No thanks. I'll pass.

I don't see woman asking for more respect than you would give another person, regardless of gender.

All they want is equality. Most do not ask for special privileges, as far as I can tell. I think what you have issue with is tactics and tone. That I 100% agree with, they suck.

All feminists do. The ones you think don't are just not telling you and other men that they do.

Like when men respectfully hold the door for women?

Oh wait, that's considered sexist by feminists...

Or how about that journalist that recently complained about how no men helped her with her overhead luggage on an airplane? I'll see if I can find a link.

That's why I think it's funny that there are actually men on here claiming that feminists just want equality. It's not called equality when you want to be treated differently because you are a woman.

I said I agree they come off as assholes. and it would be a nice thing to do if you see someone incapable of lifting their luggage to do it for them, regardless of gender.
