LSU survey on LA taxes out: prepare your anuses

Apparently no one really wants to cut spending on anything specific, and for several things many folks are saying they'd pay more in taxes:
Also, shockingly-high support for gas tax increases. Nearly 50% of repubs would support up to 20 cent/gallon?
From the looks of this, I'm thinking keeping that 5th sales tax penny permanently + gas tax hike seems likely.

I mean, they've proven to be such good stewards of our capital already, why not continuously give them more?

Random survey of Louisiana "people" but how many of them are actual taxpayers?

This is why I kept telling republicans who were having hissy fits about Vitter explicitly as follows; frick your feelings, they're too expensive and we can't afford them with JBE as Governor.

No, it's a survey of LA residents, just conducted by LSU. They have pretty much done a version of this survey for like 10+ years.

Left the state 20 years ago and Im happy with the decision. I love Louisiana, culture, food, natural beauty, and of course the Tigers… but shite like this will keep me from entertaining the idea of moving back.

Looks like Houston will get more Louisiana residents.
