If it's a smoking gun, why didn't the FBI indict?

I believe that Obama will issue a blanket pardon for HRC.
Yeah, HRC isn't getting a pardon and nor does she want or need one.
First, it would make her look guilty like Nixon. Second, the Trump administration would be committing an unnecessary self inflicted wound by attempting to prosecute a case against her. Despite what the conservatives think, Hillary is still popular nationally and globally. It would look bad for Trump.

The fix was in for Clinton. She was willing, even eager, to start World War Three on behalf of Wall Street. That is a rare commodity.

FBI doesn't indict people, genius.

Well the justice dept and Trump threatening to appoint a special prosecutor is what I was referring to.
Posted on 1/10/17 at 10:08 am to Hugo Stiglitz
This is probably Hillary supporters in the FBI trying to get her a pardon for this and the Clinton Foundation

Nice use of the word "threat." Did Trump threaten to appoint conservatives on the Supreme Court, too?

What? Trump has no power to appoint a special prosecutor. You said this couldn't be a smoking gun because the FBI didn't indict. Now you mean because Trump didn't appoint a prosecutor...before he has the power to do so?? Even someone as dim as you cannot actually believe the drivel you contribute. Clearly a troll. Just not very good at it. You aren't half the man Rex is.

A trial for Clinton will be divisive and distact from what needs to be done. President Obama will give her a pardon regardless.
This may be the best thing, that this information comes out now, while a Democrat is in the Oval Office. If it turns out that she was obviously involved in illegal pay-to-play and President Obama has to pardon both of the Clintons, then they will both be forced to go away and their political influence will be diminished. This will also increase the perceived legitimacy of the election of Donald Trump, since people will realize that a Clinton Presidency would have been one continous scandal.

If he pardons Hillary wouldn't he have to pardon Bill potentially also for their Foundation? Talk about a double blow to the left.

Interesting take on the matter. I appreciate your input here, because it is far superior to most of your input.
Time will tell. I'm sticking with my opinion. IMHO, Obama will have to grant a blanket pardon to HRC to protect HIMSELF rather than to protect her. We shall see.
