The problem is that 95% of federal beuarocrats are exactly like her. These are the people that run the day to day operations of the federal government regardless of who's president. That's why I don't feel bad when I say I want the IRS, EPA, Dept of Ed, FEMA and other agencies disbanded. I won't feel bad that these people have no jobs. In fact, it will make me happy.

Well, you should hear the whacko wing of the GOP.
It does kind of lend some credence to the Tea Party being targeted.

This.

It's absolutely amazing how people can look pass this kind of blatant bias from an IRS official as being nothing.

Mate, in the context of a targeting investigation, this is a pretty big deal. Some of you go out of your way to seem "logical" and unbiased.

Everyone in government knows you don't send this type of correspondence on your government email.

The fact that all sorts of emails disappear, then something of this nature pops up?

Is this is the end all be all proof? Of course not. But if she would be so careless as to put something like this on public record subject to an FOIA request, what else is out there that has been destroyed?

This isn't a smoking gun tying Lerner to targeting. But the fact these emails emerge showing this bias, and the fact the targeting happened under her watch?

Y'all really needed a fricking email of her calling republicans assholes to prove she had a bias?

This does nothing to prove the targeting.

Y'all are getting borderline crazy/obsessive with this shite, and I am on y'alls side.

What is wrong is that she was using her official IRS email to discuss things other than work.

No, what was wrong was that this discussion was at the center of her work.

You'd think she could afford a non poor phone.

Maybe she upgraded during her paid time off.

Where did I say I needed one? This is just circumstantial to the case.

Thanks for agreeing with me.

It's political. This is a political talk message board. What did you think would be discussed here?

Prove? Of course not. However, it does indicate her bias. This is revealing. Like previously stated, it lends credence.

We can talk about politics, but you guys are making statements that I don't even think you believe.

However, it does indicate her bias.
I am pretty sure that was established by her choice of keywords to flag non-profit applications.

What it does establish is that
a) she is an idiot.
b) she doesn't appear to have any belief that her e-mails could be searched at the time she wrote that e-mail. Therefore if there isn't a smoking gun the only hope would be to look for irregularities in the e-mail sequence numbers to see if any e-mails are being hidden.

Also it proves my theory that people like watching and listening to shows that make them angry for some reason... liberals watch Fox News and Conservatives watch MSNBC.

Are you a complete fool? Seriously, are you this void of awareness? This email is the first time Lerner shows her disdain for the GOP.

Just like most liberals I know, fight for the rights of all the minorities that society has left behind, but would never think of living anywhere near them

What's been established previously is that she may have failed to execute her duties properly. Now, we're discovering her feelings about a segment of a political party.

True enough. I should have said within the context of this investigation this is the first time we're learning that personal bias may have lead to LL's failure to bestow petitioned status on Tea Party groups.
