The Libertarian movement will eventually be absorbed by one or both parties. It's what happened to the Populist movement of the late-19th/early-20th Centuries.

Hence my question, "What does that even mean?" because I don't see Libertarians actually taking positions on social issues. They tend to leave those up to the individuals/communities.

You knew what he meant, you were just being a dick about it. Im tired of "libertarians" giving libertarianism a bad rep because they feel like being an arse to anyone that disagrees with them.

You do take sides in what society deems social issues. There are sides which involve people having more freedom and those which involve the government having more control.

The overwhelming majority of voters see issues as "social issues." Since they hold the political power, if they see social issues, they must be addressed as such.

First of all, my first impression was right, but there was confusion that Dante eventually cleared up.

Second of all I wanted it to be clear that Dante wasn't trying to be some sort of 'socially conservative libertarian' or some shite (which he made clear he isn't).

Third of all I never claimed to personally be a libertarian.

Fourth of all I don't really care what you're tired of. That sounds like a personal problem to me, and personal problems are best kept between you and your therapist. Good luck with that.
