Did the Dems insist that Carter sell his nut farm when he was president? No - and neither did the Republicans. Did Kennedy and Johnson have to get of the business business when they became president? Did Bill Clinton have to sell his business? Oh wait, something about that last example does not compute.

SO you feel its okay for the President, who was elected to do ONE job, you think its okay for him to have outside business interest that might have to deal with his government

perfect example of how out of touch with reality Trumpkins are.

Member when the first 5 presidents sold their businesses?

Neither do I, because they didn't.

to even compare a nut farm with 600 million dollars of debt to China and a 10 billion dollar international business is further proof of how fricking stupid Trumpkins and the attempts they make to rationalize are

Yep. Mount Vernon, Monticello, and Montpelier were all working plantations that continued to generate commercial income while their owners were president.

Did Adams have a business, though? I thought he just had a law practice.

If this were Hillary or Obama they would be singing a different tune. Hypocrisy?

Wasn't Obama still making over a million dollars a year off of sham book sales while president?

Uh... we elected him with full knowledge of his business interests... it's not like the fact that the owns hotels was suddenly sprung on us. Not sure what you expect, but surely it's not that we think like this:

"Ok, I'll vote for Trump, the billionaire hotel owner and real estate developer, but by golly, he better divest himself of all his money and business interests before he thinks about taking office or I'll get mad".

Only the left thinks like that.

This is all another planned design to make sure only professional politicians run for office. Gotta keep out those lowlife scummy successful business people. And if they do run, they have to sell everything they have worked their whole life to build.

bullshite. I'm tired of the professional politician aristocracy. frick them.

You sound like Bill Clinton and his "I didn't have sex with that woman" comment. So, it's not that Trump owns a business it's just the fact that it is worth a lot of money.

Do you have wheels on that goalpost of yours because you sure do move it around quite a bit?
